The United States Postal Service Projects

Starting early 2012, ICIS began working with The United States Postal Service’s Office of the Inspector General (USPS-OIG) to provide a series of workshops and research projects with the goal of identifying new areas of revenue generation for the USPS. Workshops were conducted at M.I.T., Cambridge, Massachusetts, in January, and at the USPS-OIG offices, Arlington, Virginia, in September, 2012. The workshops were attended by Risk Analysis Research Center and Innovations team, in addition to the Inspector General, Deputy Inspector General, Assistant Inspector Generals and industry leaders from fields related to the USPS. It is our belief that information from these reports developed by ICIS were discussed by the United States federal government. The workshops conducted by ICIS for USPS-OIG are listed below.

Follow up discussions subsequent to the workshops led to the USPS-OIG requesting ICIS to conduct further research in specific areas. ICIS team performed extensive research and submitted research reports on a number of topics to the USPS-OIG. ICIS is scheduled to conduct more workshops for the USPS-OIG during the year 2013. ICIS team looks forward to publishing appropriate reports we complete the work.
